Henry Ford founded Ford Motor Co in 1903 were at time horseless carriages were the main means of transportation and were expensive usually reserved for the wealthy. Ford’s innovative vision to bring the pleasures of automobiles to many people as possible went on to not only produce the first reliable, affordable automobile for the masses but also sparked a modern industrial revolution.
*Ford began fascinated with gasoline powered automobiles when working as engineer and saw promise in the future of the automobile so as of 1891 ford devoted most of his spare time in developing and constructing what he called a quadricycle. (A contraption simular looking to two bicycles placed side to side but powered by a gasoline engine).
After a decade of working on his contraption , Ford took Detroit lumber tycoon William H. Murphy for a ride in his hand-built automobile and as the ride drew to a end of the ride he was in business.
*The Detroit Automobile Company began in 1899 with ford fronting production.this closed shortly after as production did not meet demand. Now Ford concocted a plan of racing to spread the word and gain sponsors and backers andwas a success as Ford attracted the attention of backers he needed to start The Ford Motor Company in June 1903 and designed and produced the Model A vehicle and by the next year sold around 500.

Why was ford Not Like Other Manufactuers?
Unlike other auto makers ford created vehicles that everyone could afford rather than luxury and comfort. This lead Ford to his next model the Model T, this was cheaper to build yet a more reliable model of the Model A. This Vehicle went on sale in 1908 and was such a success ford had to reject many orders as the factory was so popular.
*Ford had now succeeded in his vision , but now he faced a new challenge to keep up with the ever-growing demand. Ford thought if each worker was assigned to perform one job each then production would be more efficient and quick also so in August 1913 he put his theory to work and the modern production line was born. the production time was cut by 75%.

But the unforseen disadvantage of the worker repeating the same thing day in day out, that lead workers away, but after increasing his employees pay to $5(twice the going rate) workers flocked for employment.
